St. Louis County, MO (KTRS) A child is hospitalized after being shot in north county.
Police say the 8-year-old girl was asleep in the bedroom of the family’s Castle Pointe home in the 10000 block of Count Drive when shots were fired at just before 4 a.m. Wednesday.
A bullet traveled through the walls of the home, striking the girl in the leg. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury.
No arrests have been made and there’s no word on a motive.
