(KTRS) – Hockey is coming to Busch Stadium next year. Members of the Blues, Blackhawks, and Cardinals officially announced that St. Louis will host the NHL’s Winter Classic.

The game between the Blues and Blackhawks is scheduled for January 2, 2017. This is the first outdoor game for the Blues and the third time Chicago is taking part in the Winter Classic.

Officials did not say when tickets will go on sale, but season ticket holders will get priority.
