St. Louis, MO (KTRS) The region is bracing for more winter weather.
The National Weather Service is calling for temperatures to rapidly drop into the teens Thursday night bringing sleet and snow. While the precipitation is expected to be light, the dropping temperatures may cause roads to become slick.
MODOT issued this warning: “Rain/sleet/freezing rain will start sticking to the roads, most likely, around 6 p.m. If you can get home by then, that would be ideal. If not, be prepared for slick spots on your commute.”
MODOT officials say they will operate on a full staff with crews treating roadways into Friday.
