St. Louis, MO (KTRS) The woman who said her 2 infants were stillborn when discovered by officers last week is facing formal charges. County police say the Prosecuting Attorney’s office has charged 25-year-old Maya Caston with 2 counts of second degree murder and 2 counts of child abuse.
Police found the children just before 7:30 A.M. Wednesday while responding to a call for service at the woman’s home in the 2100 block of Rountree. The probable cause statement alleges that she killed the children by covering their faces with towels and blankets.
She is being held on a $500,000 cash-only bond.
