Catcher Yadier Molina remains the only St. Louis Cardinal currently leading their position in the second release of the latest NL All Star balloting.

Molina’s lead over San Francisco’s Buster Posey has shrunk in the last week, down to a less than 63,000 vote margin. Matt Carpenter is the only other Cardinal on the infield even placing in the top 5 at their respective position. But Carpenter sits nearly a million votes shy of the front-runner at 3rd base, Kris Bryant of the Cubs.
Stephen Piscotty is the only Cardinal currently showing up in the top 15 of outfielders, but a considerable distance away from the top 3 in 12th.
