JEFFERSON CITY (KTRS) Despite efforts by Missouri Governor Eric Greitens’ legal team to dismiss her claims, a Missouri House investigatory committee backs up the testimony of a woman with whom Greitens had an affair three years ago. In its follow-up report to its initial report it released this past month, the committee says a video interview of the woman supports her assertion of being coerced into sexual activity. The House investigatory panel concludes Greitens mischaracterized the interview when he claimed it “undermined the narrative” and “directly contradicted allegations in the House report.”
The panel specifically detailed testimony in its hearings and compared it with testimony given to the St. Louis prosecutor and said it did not find anything that causes the panel to change its statement supporting the woman’s testimony.
