Mascoutah, IL (KTRS) MidAmerica Airport in Mascoutah is now requiring face coverings to be worn.
In a statement, the airport says the move comes in an effort to help stem the spread of COVID-19, and applies to passengers, visitors, and employees.
The new policy went into effect on June 15th in accordance with CDC and St. Clair County Health Department guidelines.
Acceptable face coverings include bandannas, scarves, t-shirts, and other fabric that’s held in place over a person’s nose and mouth.
