Caruthersville, MO  (KTRS)  The manhunt continues for two inmates who escaped from a jail in southeast Missouri.

Authorities say William Carter and Joseph Latamondeer crawled through an air duct to make their escape from the Caruthersville Jail Sunday morning. Carter was behind bars on a charge of 1st degree murder. He’s accused of killing two people last year by running them over.

Latamondeer was being held on felony charges of domestic assault and kidnapping.
