Imperial, MO  (KTRS)   A man is safe after becoming trapped on a flooded road in Jefferson County this morning.

Authorities say the motorist drove through flood waters on Seckman Road at West Outer Road in Imperial. He managed to get off of his vehicle and make it to safety.

This has police warning motorists to stay off of flooded roadways – turn around, don’t drown.
