St. Charles County, MO  (KTRS)  —  A man is dead after a weather-related crash in St. Charles County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 22-year-old Roy D. Alonso Villa of Winfield was killed Saturday morning on Highway 79 south of Route Y near O’Fallon. The patrol says Villa was traveling  southbound  on the snow-covered road and slid into the northbound lanes, crashing into another vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle suffered moderate injuries.
