St. Louis, MO  (KTRS)  A man is dead following a shooting in north St. Louis.

Police say the victim was gunned down in the 6100 block of North Pointe around 11 p.m. Friday. There’s no word on a motive or of any arrests.

The victim’s name hasn’t been released.

This brings the St. Louis murder count to at least five for the year. Last year’s murder count in St. Louis topped out at 205.
