St. Louis, MO  (KTRS)  A man is dead after a shooting in north St. Louis.

Police say the victim was shot in the chest at just before 5 p.m. Saturday in the 4800 block of Farlin. He was transported to an area hospital, where he later died. The victim’s name hasn’t been released.

There’s no word of a motive or of any arrests.

This brings the St. Louis murder count to at least 166 for the year.
