(KTRS) – Dr. Kelvin Adams will remain as the superintendent of St. Louis Public Schools through the end of the 2019 school year.
The 3-year extension will keep Adams’ salary at $225,000 a year–the Post-Dispatch reports that is the same salary he had when he started in 2008. Adams will now get a car allowance of $800 a month, up from the current $300 a month.
Under Adams, St. Louis schools have seen an increases to graduation rates and academic performance.
