Jennings, MO  (KTRS)  A Jennings man is accused in the murder of a child.

Twenty-four-year-old Corey Miller is charged with second degree murder in the death of 2-year-old Cayden Carson. Investigators say on Sunday officers responded to a residence in the 5600 block of Helen Avenue for a sick case. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive child. He was transported to a local hospital,where he was pronounced deceased.

An autopsy shows Cayden died of blunt force trauma.

Miller is also charged with one count of Abuse or Neglect of a Child Resulting in Death.He is being held on a $250,000 cash only bond.
