St. Louis, MO (KTRS) There’s new developments in the criminal case against Governor Eric Greitens.
Fox 2 reports that the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office turned of a video deposition of Greitens’ former mistress to the court Wednesday at 6 p.m. Greitens’ lawyers were told the interview was lost because the video machine didn’t work.
During a court hearing Thursday morning, Greitens’ defense team accused the prosecution of withholding evidence and lying and asked for the case dismissed.
Gardner told the judge she didn’t know the tape existed until this week.
Defense lawyer Jim Martin told the judge that deposition tells an entirely different story about the woman’s interaction with Greitens. He further said it shows that she wasn’t a victim, but “a willing participant.”
