(KTRS) – Illinois’ Republican governor says he would support Donald Trump if he wins the party’s nomination for president.

Governor Bruce Rauner spoke to reporters for the first time since last week’s primary, which Trump won. Rauner did not discuss any of the other GOP candidates, saying the process should play itself out.

Senator Mark Kirk also said that he would support Trump if he’s the nominee.
