COLUMBIA, Mo. – Former Missouri quarterback Maty Mauk has alluded to committing to Eastern Kentucky University according to his Twitter biography. No official confirmation has been made by EKU at this point.
Mauk was dismissed from Missouri in January after a video surfaced on social media featuring the quarterback snorting a white substance. After being suspended twice during the 2015 season, he was reinstated in December by new football coach Barry Odom and welcomed back to team activities before being dismissed.
According to Dave Matter of the Post-Dispatch, Mauk gradated from the University of Missouri this past weekend, so he’d be eligible to play this upcoming season as a graduate transfer.
In three seasons playing for Mizzou, the Ohio native passed for 4,373 yards and 42 touchdowns.
