St. Louis, MO  (KTRS)  One person is dead after an accident in north St. Louis.

Police say a vehicle crashed into a utility pole on Hall Street and Carrie at around 3:30 a.m. Thursday. This knocked out power for about 1,600 Ameren customers.

The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
