Brian Elliot in(again). Jake Allen out. Blues coach Ken Hitchcock made the news official earlier this afternoon.
#stlblues Hitch: Tarasenko 100%, Elliott starts tomorrow

Jake Allen made 21 saves last night, but allowed four goals.
"We needed the jolt from Jake. We got it" Hitch on #stlblues goalies, "but this has been Brian's playoffs & we'd like him to finish the job"

Only San Jose’s Martin Jones has more goalie ice time in these NHL playoffs than Elliot. The 481 saves made by Elliot in these playoffs are far and away the most in the league right now.
You have to figure this is Elliot’s to finish now for better or worse. Is it a ride that lasts another couple weeks, or one that will expire in under 36 hours? Only time will tell
