A Dine out event is being held on Friday to help a Pontoon Beach police officer who was injured in a traffic accident.

Several metro-east restaurants and businesses will donate a portion of its proceeds to help with Officer Lee Brousseau’s medical bills. Brousseau was seriously injured in a head-on crash on January 25 that killed the other driver.

The following restaurants are participating in this fundraiser:

Uncle Linny’s Restaurant 4112 Pontoon Road, Pontoon Beach, IL

Pizza World 1535 Johnson Rd. Granite City, IL

In addition, Shirts Galore and More will print and donate 100 t-shirts to benefit Brousseau. Shirts will be available for purchase at both Uncle Linny’s Restaurant and Pizza World.
