(KTRS) – A chain restaurant with a location in Des Peres says that a potential data breach could affect customers in seven states.
Nearly 30 Elephant Bar locations could be involved in the breach. The Dallas-based chain has apologized for the breach and is encouraging customers to check their credit and debit card statements. Elephant Bar was told on November 3 about illegal software found on its payment processing statements.
Purchases made between August 12 and December 4 were implicated in the breach. Customers can call 1-866-578-5412 for additional information.
