Two people are charged in the death of a robbery accomplice who was killed by the intended victim in St. Charles.
29-year-old Michael Leslie and 21-year-old Autumn Nuspl, both of Overland, are jailed on $250,000 cash-only bail. They are charged with second-degree murder and other charges in the death of 31-year-old Brady David Wood of O’Fallon, Missouri.
Police in St. Charles say Wood worked with Leslie and Nuspl to create a fake Facebook page and arranged to meet a man whom they thought had cash and drugs.
Police say Nuspl gave Leslie and Wood a ride Friday to an alley, where they used a BB gun that looked like a real semiautomatic weapon to ambush the man. But police say the man was armed and shot Wood.
