St. Louis, MO  (KTRS)  A child is hospitalized after being shot in north St. Louis.

Police say the 9-year-old was shot at just before 3 p.m. at the intersection of  North Grand and Montgomery. He suffered a gunshot wound to the buttocks. He was conscious and breathing when taken to an area hospital.

There’s no word on a motive or of an arrest.
