St. Louis, MO  (KTRS)  Police are investigating after a child discovered a body while walking to school in north St. Louis.

Investigators say the 10-year-old boy discovered the body of the male victim Wednesday morning in the 4700 block of North 20th Street. The victim had been shot to death. His name hasn’t been released.

This brings the St. Louis murder count to at least 174 for the year.
