Affton, MO  (KTRS)  A suspect is in custody in connection with a murder in south county last month. Twenty-three-year-old Danijel Colic was arrested in Kentucky and charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of Joan Furlong.

The body of the 65-year-old victim was found in her Affton home in the 8400 Hampstead Drive on September 21st. Police say Colic took Furlong’s car, wallet, and cell phone.

A witness told police that Colic told him prior to the murder that he knew a lady who he could kill to get money.

Colic will be held on a $1,000,000, no 10%, bond.
