(KTRS) – The St. Louis Cardinals plan to examine allegations that a minor-league player quit playing baseball because of homophobic situations he witnessed.
The Post-Dispatch reports that former minor-league pitcher Tyler Dunnington gave an interview to Outsports-dot-com and said he was a closeted gay athlete that endured homophobia in the sport. The paper says that GM John Mozeliak plans to look into Dunnington’s allegations.
