WASHINGTON (AP) – State Department calendars obtained by The Associated Press show that Hillary Rodham Clinton opened her office to dozens of Democratic Party fundraisers, political loyalists and corporate donors to her family’s charity while she was secretary of state.

Clinton met nearly 100 donors, executives and political heavyweights. Many led organizations that lobbied or pursued interests with the Obama administration at the time.
At least 60 of those who met with Clinton between 2009 and 2013 represented entities that donated or pledged program commitments to the Clinton Foundation.

The AP found no evidence of legal or ethical conflicts in Clinton’s meetings. But her availability to luminaries from politics, business and charity shows the extent to which her office became a sounding board as she was widely expected to run for president.
