ST. LOUIS (KTRS) A new concept from Build-A-Bear Workshops will open next month at West County Center. Build-A-Bear officials say the Build-A-Bear Bakeshop will open as a so-called pop-up shop offering customers baked goods they can decorate … or simply eat … made by Sarah’s Cake Shop in Chesterfield. Spokeswoman Beth Kerley says it will follow the “make your own” concept popularized by the Build-A-Bear Workshops. There are more than 400 Build-A-Bear Workshops nationwide.

The Build-A-Bear Bakeshop will be available for private decorating parties or walk-in service and will also offer coffee, juice, bottled water and a variety of flavored milks. Whether the Bakeshop will remain once the holidays are over has not been announced.
