The St. Louis Blues and forward Kyle Brodziak agreed on a two-year contract worth $1.9 million. Brodziak was a key cog in the steady play of the 4th line for the Note, especially during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The 32-year old will be entering his 12th season in the league this upcoming October. He scored seven goals for the Blues this past year.
The signing comes after this past weekend’s NHL draft, a weekend that saw the team deal goaltender Brian Elliot to the Calgary Flames. The Blues are more than likely not done wheeling and dealing with Kevin Shattenkirk rumored to not be long for St. Louis.
