Jake Allen made it simple enough about his status for the opener tomorrow night in Chicago.
“I’m good. Good to go.”

Ken Hitchcock didn’t show much concern about Allen’s status.
“We knew this when we pulled him out in the game, that this was going to be OK. We just needed to go through protocol. We went through protocol at 8:30 this morning. Not a big deal.”
Hitchcock admitted they had no issues with calling on Carter Hutton if need be, but wanted to give Allen “the ball.”
With the top two goaltenders set, the Blues made a move this morning.
