(KTRS) – Activists and organizers are coming together to find ways to hold elected officials accountable for implementing suggestions from the Ferguson Commission.

More than a thousand people gathered for a strategy session this weekend at Saint Louis University. The Ferguson Commission delivered a report to Governor Jay Nixon with policy recommendations on how to increase police training, create civilian oversight of police, and repair community relations.

The Commission has no authority to implement their suggestions.
