ST. LOUIS (KTRS) For the second time in about a week, the ACLU of Missouri has filed a lawsuit against the city of St. Louis over police actions. The suit, which also names St. Clair County, Illinois, as a plaintiff, involves an incident two years ago in the Fountain park Neighborhood. The ACLU is suing over what it calls police misconduct during protests that followed the shooting death of Mansur Ball-Bey by a police officer in August, 2015.
Earlier this last week, the ACLU filed suit over arrests at a protest that followed a judge’s ruling on Sept. 15 acquitting former officer Jason Stockley of first-degree murder in the death of Anthony Lamar Smith.
