KTRS received the following information from MoDOT on ramp closures.
ST. LOUIS – Several ramps in downtown St. Louis will close this weekend as part of planned Stanley Cup celebrations.
The ramp from eastbound I-44/northbound I-55 to Walnut Street, and the ramp from the westbound Poplar Street Bridge to eastbound I-44 and Walnut Street will close at 11 a.m. Friday, June 14 to prepare for this weekend’s activities at the Gateway Arch National Park.
The ramps are expected to reopen by 8 p.m. Sunday, June 16.
Since downtown roadways are expected to be heavily traveled, those heading to the celebration at the Arch grounds are encouraged to use Metro. Those who choose to use ridesharing or taxis should not stop at closed interstate ramps, but at designated locations around the Arch grounds.
