St. Louis, MO (KTRS) Police are on the scene of an officer involved shooting in south St. Louis. St. Louis Metropolitan Police Chief John Hayden says around 6:30 Wednesday night two suspects showed up at the Advance Auto Parts in the 35 hundred block of Gravois and attempted to use a stolen credit card that was taken in a previous robbery. The business called police. When officers arrived one of the suspects started a fight with the police. Officers say the fight involved a gun that was seen on the suspect. One of the officers shot the suspect in the chest. The suspect was taken to the hospital and currently is in stable condition. No officers were injured. The gun was a pellet gun that looked to be a larger caliber.
