St. Louis, MO  (KTRS)  Police are investigating after human remains were found along a stretch of railroad tracks in St. Louis.

Authorities say a maintenance work made the discovery Monday afternoon  on Manchester Road near Tamm Avenue. Evidence markers stretched over hundreds of yards of the tracks, marking where officers discovered blood or additional human remains.

Police are describing the death as “suspicious.” The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
