Florissant, MO  (KTRS)  A family of three in Florissant is dead in what police are calling a double murder-suicide.

Investigators say officers were called to perform a welfare check at a home along the 1400 block of East Duchesne Drive on Thursday afternoon. Officers found the bodies of a man, a woman, and a child inside of the home. A gun was also recovered at the scene.

The victims have been identified as 31-year-old Giovanni Novoa, 29-year-old Yolanda Novoa, and 6-year-old Ylineh Novoa. Police haven’t released any other details in the case.
