Festus, MO  (KTRS)  Police are investigating after a body was found in a wooded area in Festus.

Police say a man was walking through the wooded area on Collins Road and Route A when he made the discovery around 2 p.m. Friday. The case is being investigated as a homicide.

The victim’s name hasn’t been released. Police have not said how the man died.
