ST. CHARLES (KTRS) In St. Charles, a toddler has been returned safely to his mother after a brief disappearance involving the boy’s father. Authorities say they’ve taken the father into custody. Authorities say Anthony Irvin-the Third, who is in his 20’s, called the mother of the toddler, Anthony M. Irvin, around 4 o-clock this morning to ask if he could visit the child. Shortly afterward, he reportedly got into a car with other adults and the child.

St. Charles County Police say St. Louis City Police assisted in the recovery of the toddler. The case remains under investigation.
