Shep Gordon hung out with the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin in the late sixties, and got his start when someone said, “Hey Shep, you’re Jewish, right? You should manage a rock band!” (because apparently back in the day, all rock managers were Jewish). He got his start with Alice Cooper, but the amount of stories the man has should automatically qualify him as the next Dos Equis “Most Interesting Man in the World”

Austin Powers himself, Mike Myers, heard Shep’s story, and immediately went to work on a documentary “Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon” – after Anothony Bourdain saw the film, he immediately hired Shep to write the book to be published under Bourdain’s book imprint, which leads him to us, where Shep will be speaking at the ST.
