We just saw Singer/Songwriter Carol Bayer Sager on our favorite show CBS Sunday Morning, and we had to get our chance talking with her. Writing her first song while teaching school, she soon learned the $5K she was making with her teaching salary, couldn’t touch the first $35,000 royalty check she received from penning her first song, “Groovy Kind of Love”. From there it was off to writing songs for Stevie Wonder, Carole King, Carly Simon and Michael Jackson (just to name a few…). She joined John Carney to talk about her new book “They’re Playing Our Song: A Memoir” – take a listen.
