Joe Walsh is a great guitarist, and was long before he joined The Eagles. The James Gang frontman has plenty of solo music, as well as the hits he helped craft with Don and Glenn, and spoke to Carney about joining The Eagles, when they were painted as just a “Country Rock” band, and writing the opening lick to “Life in the Fast Lane” which was just something he’d play during sound check.
