(KTRS) – The man who started the LouFest music festival, is leaving his creation behind to start a new type of festival in the Cortex innovation district.

Brian Cohen said the event, called Murmuration, will be a three-day festival and will showcase thought leaders, an art competition, and national musical acts. Dennis Lower is the Cortex CEO and says the event will be something like the South by Southwest festival in Austin.

Cohen told the St. Louis Business Journal he expects to announce a full list of acts later this summer.
