(KTRS) – St. Louis County officials are introducing their own legislation to create a program that would monitor prescription opioids that can lead to a heroin addiction.
County Executive Steve Stenger held a press conference Tuesday said the state has failed to create a tracking program, so the county has plan sto do it on their own. Missouri is the only state that doesn’t have a database to track prescriptions for drugs like OxyContin.
