(KTRS) – One of the top football players in the nation could be suspended to start the Missouri Tigers next season.
Terry Beckner Jr. was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of possession of marijuana. Officers say they pulled Beckner over for driving without his headlights on. When officers approached the car they said they smelled marijuana, did a search of the car, and found a small bag with some pot in it. New coach, Barry Odom suspended Beckner indefinitely.
Several groups named Beckner a Freshman All-American last season, but he suffered a season-ending injury in the tenth game of the season.
