About 172,000 residents have pre-registered with the St. Louis County Health Department for the Covid-19 vaccination but County Executive Sam Page says that a few have been dishonest on the form; misrepresenting their age and occupation, claiming to be frontline health care workers when they are not in order to get the vaccine sooner. Page says the dishonesty has not been widespread, but it’s important to be honest on the form because the information is used to determine which Phase and Tier the person belongs to. Lying on the form could deprive the shot to someone at high risk of Covid-19 complications. The County expects another shipment of vaccine Tuesday, but it’s not clear how many doses will arrive. The the County health department so far has only received 975 doses, .Page spoke at a news conference Monday morning.
