(KTRS) – The Wall Street Journal reports that former Cardinals scouting director, Chris Correa, plans to admit to hacking the Houston Astros computer network.
Correa was fired in July while the Cardinals were the target of a federal investigation into the alleged hacking. Correa initially confessed to accessing the Astros’ database, but he claimed it was only to determine if they had stolen Cardinals proprietary data.
The Wall Street Journal says that Correa has agreed to plead guilty to five of 12 charges he faces.
