St. Louis, MO (KTRS) The rash of child shootings continues after a 5-year-old boy is shot while riding in a car near Midtown Thursday night.

The incident occurred around 10 P.M. near the intersection of Grand and Lindell. The boy is hospitalized in critical condition.

This comes just one day after 16-year-old Myiesha Cannon was gunned down in the 44-hundred block of Lexington in north St. Louis.

This is the 5th child shot this week. 4 of those were fatal.
