UNION, Mo. (AP) — Four people are dead, including two children, after a head-on crash involving a tractor-trailer in eastern Missouri.
The accident happened about 1:30 p.m. Friday on Highway 47 near the Franklin County town of Union. Names and ages of the victims have not been released but the Missouri State Highway Patrol says two of the victims are young children.
All four of those killed were in a car. The patrol says the car crossed the center line and hit the oncoming truck.
