Several years ago, I was asked, “Where did you go to school?” I proudly responded with, “K-State!” They replied as though I was from another planet and said, “No, high school!” I soon realized that the most common question asked in St. Louis deals with where you attended high school, and like Dorothy, I wasn’t in Kansas anymore!
I am the son of a cleaning lady and dairy farmer/firefighter from south-central Kansas, and I attended Garden Plain High School. Garden Plain is a conservative, small (pop. 912) German Catholic farm community located about 20 miles west of Wichita. My mom graduated from high school, and my dad had an eighth-grade education. They did not have the opportunity to further their educations because they both worked on their family farms to help support their families.

I am honored to be a member of the Ricken family and business partners with my favorite dad, Gerry Ricken. My name may have changed in July of 2021 as I married my wonderful husband, Stephen Provost, but I will always be a proud Ricken.
My family means the world to me. I love exploring the world with my husband. We love to cook, travel, hike, taste wine, and take flight with him as our pilot. When my mom is not hard at work in promotional product sales, she and I enjoy hiking and power walking together. I am truly lucky to work alongside my dad every day and love learning from him and laughing with him. My older sister, Barbie, and my younger brother, Will, are my constant support system and source of entertainment. We’re a family filled with love, laughter, and inspiration from our guardian angel, my oldest sister, Mary Beth.
