Carl Middleman

Carl Middleman (AKA “Carl the Intern”) started at KSHE 95 as a morning show intern in 1990. He was promoted to associate producer in 1991 and has continued with positions of progressively increasing responsibility for nearly 35 years. During this time, he has teamed with a variety of hosts including Smash, John Ulett, Randy Raley, Byrd, Bob & Tom, JC Corcoran, Jamie Allman, Debbie Monterrey, Ryan Wrecker, Marc Cox and now with McGraw Milhaven & Radio Rose Dalton. In 1991, he was voted Radio Personality of the Year by the Riverfront Times. With more than a three decades of radio experience, Carl’s contributions to the St. Louis stations have also included producing the K-Hits morning show and as executive producer for mornings on KFTK. His responsibilities have ranged from producing to promotions director to co-hosting his own entertainment show, as well as being a long-time contributor to Max on Movies on KTRS.Carl earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Louis University. Additionally, Carl is a member of the St. Louis Film Critics Association where he serves as Membership Liaison chairman. Professionally, he has been the music coordinator for the St. Louis Blues since 1996, in addition to blowing the goal horn when the team scores. “Farmer” Dave Schumacher

Dave is an original member of KTRS and was a part of its first broadcast in 1996. Dave ran the early morning show prior to his semi-retirement in 2024 after 28 years at The Big 550.

He can be heard on weekdays at 5am, 10am, and Noon with Agriculture Updates.

Dave has conducted auctions throughout the United States for the past 25 years and is the owner of Schumacher Auctions, Inc. He is well known in the St. Louis area for his participation in numerous charitable auctions such as the St. Louis Cardinals Winter Warm-ups, the Matthew Dickey Organization, the American Cancer Society, and many more.
